Cheese platter with grapes and breadsticks

There’s usually someone at the table who goes straight for the gorgonzola. Someone else carefully avoids it—until curiosity wins.

That’s part of the pleasure of a cheese board. You can try a little, compare, go back for another piece and discover that your favourite isn’t the one you expected.

At Bottega 26 in Nha Trang, you can start with our Cheese Platter, explore the cheeses at the deli counter, or browse our online selection for something to enjoy at home.

Four cheeses. Where will you start?

Our Cheese Platter brings together Parmigiano, gorgonzola, asiago and provolone for 220,000 VND.

Take a small piece of each before deciding which deserves the next bite. Notice the texture as much as the flavour: the way Parmigiano breaks, the bite of provolone, and the unmistakable character of blue-veined gorgonzola.

If you’re unsure where to begin, leave the gorgonzola until last. Give the other cheeses their moment before moving to its stronger flavour.

There’s no test at the end. You don’t need the right vocabulary. “A little more of that one” works perfectly.

Bring something good home

A cheese board is only one possibility. Perhaps you’re making a sandwich, finishing a plate of pasta, or putting together lunch with tomatoes and bread.

Our deli selection gives you seven different places to start.

Grana Padano — more than a finishing touch

It’s easy to think of Grana Padano only when the pasta is ready. Try a few small pieces on their own, too. Its firm, grainy texture makes it a good contrast to softer cheeses on a board.

Available in 100 g portions.

Pecorino Romano — a little goes a long way

For those who like a more assertive, salty flavour, Pecorino Romano earns its place in the kitchen. Grate a little over pasta or vegetables, taste, and then decide whether you need more.

Available in 100 g portions.

Gorgonzola — for the curious

Our deli carries Gorgonzola Piccante DOP. This is the one to choose when you want the cheese to make itself known. Try a small piece with bread, or use a little to give a sauce a stronger personality.

Available in 100 g portions.

Asiago — give it a place on the board

Asiago deserves a bite of its own before you build a sandwich around it. Try it alongside another cheese and notice the difference: choosing becomes much easier when you can compare.

Our Asiago DOP is available in 100 g portions.

Provolone — made for your next sandwich

Our deli selection includes Provolone Valpadana DOP Dolce. Slice it into bread, melt it into a toast, or add it to a board when you want a gentler contrast to gorgonzola.

Available in 100 g portions.

Italian Mozzarella — keep lunch simple

Tomatoes, mozzarella, olive oil and some good bread. Sometimes lunch needs very little planning.

Our Italian cow’s milk mozzarella comes in a 125 g portion, ready for a salad or a sandwich where the cheese gets plenty of attention.

Baby Burrata — the soft centre of the table

Cut into burrata and its creamy centre becomes part of the dish. Put it beside tomatoes or vegetables and keep some bread close by.

Our Baby Burrata is sold individually, at 50 g each.

A board of your own

You don’t need to buy every cheese to make an interesting selection. Start with contrasting textures: something firm, something softer, and a stronger flavour if you enjoy it.

Grana Padano, Provolone Dolce and Gorgonzola Piccante would give you three different directions to explore. Or make fresh mozzarella or burrata the centre of a simple lunch.

If you’re adding cold cuts, our guide to the Bottega 26 deli gives you a few more names to get to know.
